I wonder: The trouble with Wonder Woman

Quick! Give a list  of how many films each of the major icons of the world of comics has had since the great boom of the early 2000's....

Ok, so how many did you get? When I last asked myself that question the results went something like this:

6 Superman films( not including 2013's Man of Steel )
7 Batman films
1 Green Lantern film

The combined effort by Marvel's own in house studio and Sony have yielded over 20 films featuring Marvel's characters, several of which could stake a claim for the greatest superhero movie of all time in my heart.

Now, whose missing from this list? Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman abscence from the Hollywood movie scene is almost a crime, given her cultural status outside of it, even I can see that, and I don't actually like the character!

On some level, I can completely understand why it hasn't worked out for Wonder Woman thus far. Her origin is weird, her powers aren't, at least from a cinematic point of view, that impressive and she lacks the broad built-in audience needed to get studio executives foaming at the mouth. However, before 2011 I would have said the same thing of Thor, and yet his film proved to be hugely successful. The bottom line is sooner or later, there must be a Wonder Woman movie.

I like Sons of Anarchy. That is not a particularly controversial statement, in the seven years that the show was on television it garnered a sizeable following and it's easy to see why: the show's narrative is pure crime fiction of the most enjoyable kind. Welcome Fellow comic lovers to the first, suitably actionpacked, issue of Kerrpow! My limited edition blog on the ever changing faces and maskes of the Comics industry. To start, lets tackle the the big boys by doning our secert identities, taking to the rooftops and going toe-to-toe with Marvel. Marvel Comics has always been a great source of pleasure to me, continually managing the balance between the new wave of dark antiheroism and its own playful 60's roots. Legacy

When I posted about Assassins Creed, I mentioned how rare it was to find a game where the writing and storyline match up to the gameplay. I still stand by that statement but I realised, while talking about AC I had failed to mention was is, in my opinion at least, the only other series that can make the claim: The Legacy of Kain series. This series is perhaps one of the only examples where the gameplay actually takes a backseat to the storyline. The main bulk of said storyline is written by Amy Hennig(Who is also responsible for the script of the now critically acclaimed Uncharted series) and is unfortunatly far to complex to explain in a single blog post, so instead I thought I would give you a taster, direct from Youtube You've got to admit that is some fine quality dialogue and there are at least ten more cutscenes like it in Soul Reaver 2 alone.
