Hello again! I'm back at University and finally free to delve full on into the world of comics once more.

Today, as you may have guessed from title,( or not guessed depending on if you have a life) I am gonna be foucusing on Batman. Batman is awewsome, people may try to tell you otherwise but these people are wrong! Why? Because it's Batman that's why!

Let's think about this serously for a second. Stupid costume aside, Batman is essentaily a ninja who drives an F1 car. Now I'm not an expert by any strecth of the imagination, but I'm pretty sure that if you dropped Batman into the middle of Milton Keynes, this whole knife crime thing would be over.

I like Sons of Anarchy. That is not a particularly controversial statement, in the seven years that the show was on television it garnered a sizeable following and it's easy to see why: the show's narrative is pure crime fiction of the most enjoyable kind. The assorted characters that inhabit the titular outlaw motorcycle club are the friendly, likeable, family orientated face of the criminal underworld, in a world full of bad guys, they are the least bad. As you might imagine, the show trades heavily on the mythic status of real outlaw clubs such as the Hells Angels. Legacy

When I posted about Assassins Creed, I mentioned how rare it was to find a game where the writing and storyline match up to the gameplay. I still stand by that statement but I realised, while talking about AC I had failed to mention was is, in my opinion at least, the only other series that can make the claim: The Legacy of Kain series. This series is perhaps one of the only examples where the gameplay actually takes a backseat to the storyline. The main bulk of said storyline is written by Amy Hennig(Who is also responsible for the script of the now critically acclaimed Uncharted series) and is unfortunatly far to complex to explain in a single blog post, so instead I thought I would give you a taster, direct from Youtube You've got to admit that is some fine quality dialogue and there are at least ten more cutscenes like it in Soul Reaver 2 alone. Welcome Fellow comic lovers to the first, suitably actionpacked, issue of Kerrpow! My limited edition blog on the ever changing faces and maskes of the Comics industry.
